With Pen and mike in hand

“With pen and mike in hand, I write and recite for you”.   This will be the title of my third book and it is a book of poetry. I have expanded my work more and I am in the process of self editing this manuscript. I will submit it to my publisher in the fall of 2011.  I have been staying pretty busy and writing as much as possible. Here are a few of the events that I have been fortunate to be a part of: Mentoring elementary students once a month at Calverton elementary school in Beltsville Md., I participated in the Kensington Md. book fair in April,  and the Gaithersburg book festival in May. I also participated in Beltsville day activities in Beltsville Md. as well visiting and reciting for the Bradford Oak nursing home in Clinton, Md. My next update will show you events that i will participate in for the next quarter and into the last quarter of the year. I am enjoying what I am doing and hoping that I am helping others along the way with my work and recitals.
